After arriving in Delhi, meet the IHPL representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Once you complete the check-in formalities, you are free to spend the day in doing the activities of your interest. You can explore the surroundings on foot, can eat the lip-smacking street food or can check-out the popular markets. Stay overnight.
Once you have your breakfast, get transferred to the airport to board a flight to Patna. On arriving in Patna, get transferred to your hotel. Post lunch, in the afternoon, leave for sightseeing where you visit attractions such as Takht Sri Patna Sahib, Gol ghat, Patan Devi temple etc. Stay overnight.
On the third of your tour, once you have your breakfast, begin driving towards Bodhgaya. On the way, you stop at Nalanda, this ancient University for higher learning in Bihar is now in ruins. It was during the 5th to 12th centuries that this university became quite popular. It is believed Gautam Buddha had received his treatment for joint pains at the hot springs of Nalanda. Afterwards, proceed for sightseeing of Rajgir, a beautiful ancient city surrounded by lush forests. It was the capital of the Magadha rulers until the 5th century. If legends are to be believed, it was in Rajgir that Gautam Buddha meditated for several months and delivered some of his important sermons. On arriving in Bodhgaya, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. If you want, you can indulge in the activities of your interest. Overnight stay.
Have your breakfast and leave for visiting the attractions of Bodhgaya. This is one of the 4 most important places in the life of Lord Buddha. This is that place where Buddha had attained enlightenment under the Mahabodhi tree. Visit the Mahabodhi temple that was built during the 7th century but originally by Ashoka during the 3rd century. The afternoon is free for leisure activities. Stay overnight
On day 5, have your breakfast and leave for Varanasi by road. On arriving, check- in at your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free for activities of own interest. Explore the surroundings on foot, interact with the locals, visit the ghats or local bazaar. Stay overnight.
Enjoy an early morning (at 5 a.m.) boat ride in the holy water of river Ganga. Cruise along the Ghats (stone steps), observe the locals doing their daily chores. Have your breakfast and leave for visiting Sarnath (10 kms). This place contains the park where Lord Buddha, after enlightenment, delivered his first sermon. The Mantra, “Buddham Sharanam Gachham”, owes its origin to this place. The afternoon is for sightseeing in Varanasi, including the Vishwanath Temple the art gallery at Benaras Hindu University, the Dugra Temple, and a marble temple. Stay overnight.
Once you have your breakfast, get transported to Allahabad by road. Once you reach, check- into your hotel. After lunch, leave for visiting Allahabad Sangam. Known as Triveni Sangam, this place is the meeting point of three rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. It is said that one who takes a dip in this water, washes away all his sins. Later, visit the nearby temples. Stay Overnight.
Once you have your breakfast on the 8th day of the tour, leave for Faizabad by road. En-route, halt at Ayodhya, otherwise known as Saket- also the birth place of Lord Rama. You can visit attractions such as Sita ki Rasoi, HanumanGarhi, Treta ka Thakur etc. Proceed to Faizabad. On arrival, check-into your hotel and later visit Faizabad’s attractions such as Gulab bari, Tulsi Udyan etc. Stay overnight.
Once you have your breakfast, leave for Lucknow by road. From the Lucknow railway station, board a train to Delhi. On reaching the capital city of India, get an assisted transfer to your hotel for staying overnight. (Note: If time permits, you can explore the Lucknow city).
Have your breakfast and leave for a day’s trip to Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Every nook and corner of this town has tales to tell about the days Shri Krishna spent here. Visit the well-known temples and sites such as Shri Krishna Janmbhoomi, Rangbhoomi, Dwarkadish Temple. Proceed to Vrindavan later, another famous town where Krishna spent his childhood and a few years of his youth. Visit the Banke Bihari temple and ISKCON temple for Darshan. Back to Delhi for staying overnight.
In the morning, after you have your breakfast, leave by road for Rishikesh. On the way, you stop at Haridwar to take a dip in the holy water of river Ganga at Har-ki-Paudi. You can also visit the well-known temples such as Bharat Mata Mandir etc. Attend the mesmerizing evening Aarti and proceed to Rishikesh. Upon arrival, check- in at your hotel for an overnight stay.
Post breakfast on day 12, explore the temples, ashrams and other attractions of Rishikesh that will include Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, Shivananda Ashram, Parmarth Ashram. Attend the evening Aarti on Ghats of Ganga at Parmarth Ashram. Stay overnight.
Once you have your breakfast, begin driving to Devprayag, one of the Panch Prayags and the meeting point of rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi. Visit Sangam and attend the Puja Ceremony. Later continue your drive towards Pauri, a picturesque hill station located on the northern foothills of Kandoliya hills. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. After relaxing for a while, post lunch, you can explore the hidden beauty of this place from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the majestic Himalayas. Stay overnight.
On day 14, after Breakfast at the hotel, leave for visiting the attractions of Pauri that will include temples like Kandoliya Temple, Kyunkaleshwar Mahadev Temple. Also go to Khirsu, located at 1700 meters. From this small quiet town, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Himalayan Peaks. Stay overnight.
After breakfast, depart by surface to Delhi 310 Kms 8-9 hrs drive approx. Arrive Delhi met with and transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay.
Once you have your breakfast leave for visiting Delhi attractions that will include Akshardham temple, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Chatarpur Temple as well as Qutab Minar and Humayun Tomb.
After Dinner, you will get an on-time transfer to the airport to board a flight for your onward destination.
